Hayman is a family company with history dating back to 1863. The original family company was bought by James Burrough, who is the great grandfather of Chairman Christopher Hayman. James Burrough Limited consisted of a Fine Alcohols Division and a Drinks Division with a portfolio of Gin and Vodkas – most notably Beefeater Gin.

Following the sale of James Burrough Limited to Whitbread in 1987, Christopher purchased the Fine Alcohols Division back from Whitbread. In addition, Christopher bought part of Thames Distillers in South London and 3 bottling lines from James Burrough to allow him to continue the tradition of distilling, blending and bottling Gin and other spirits.

Today the company consists of the following divisions:

Hayman Distillers – The Hayman’s Gin range, Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum and Sir Walt’s London Liqueur.
Burlington Bottling - Specialist in the Contract Bottling of Spirits and Liqueurs.
Burlington Drinks – One stop shop of every day alcoholic drinks including Gin, Vodka, Scotch Whisky, Tequila and Liqueurs
Hayman Speciality Products - Worldwide Distributors of Industrial Alcohol and Solvents.
Kimia International - Supplier of Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic ingredients.
